Trial, refunds and going over your quota

Standard packages come with a 15-day risk-free trial. Your site is not cut off when the quota runs out. This page explains what counts toward the quota and what happens when it runs out.

Use cases

A developer wants to try the CDN with their own application for a short time. They want to know whether their site goes down after an unexpected traffic spike and which traffic counts toward the quota.

Workflow

  1. Buy the standard package that fits your needs in the panel and assign it to your account.
  2. Watch your usage in the Data Consumption report.
  3. If you are not continuing, cancel within 15 days of the purchase date.
  4. If your usage looks like it will exceed your package, move to a larger package.

Checks

  • Every plan comes with a 15-day risk-free trial: a standard package newly bought on the site or in the panel can be cancelled within 15 days without giving a reason. The full amount you paid is refunded with no deductions.
  • The 15-day refund does not apply to renewed periods or to Enterprise services that start with an Order Form.
  • Your site stays up and no penalty invoice is generated when the quota runs out. You see usage in the panel and can upgrade in one click if you need more.
  • What counts toward the quota: traffic served by the edge servers, the small responses given to blocked requests (block and challenge pages, rate-limit responses) and images processed by image optimization. Stored access log files count as storage.
  • Attack traffic dropped at the network layer before it reaches an edge server does not count toward the quota.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan comes with a 15-day risk-free trial: you can cancel a standard package newly bought on the site or in the panel within 15 days without giving a reason, and the full amount you paid is refunded with no deductions.

Does my site go down if I go over my package's quota?

No. Your site stays up and no penalty invoice is generated. You see usage in the panel and can upgrade in one click if you need more.

Does blocked attack traffic count toward my quota?

Partly. When WAF, rate limiting or the JavaScript challenge blocks a request, the small response the edge server gives (a block or challenge page) counts toward the quota. Traffic dropped at the network layer before it reaches an edge server does not count.

Is there a trial or refund for Enterprise?

Enterprise has no 15-day refund; the first month's fee covers setup, migration support and the contracting work, and it is not refunded. You can run your technical trial on a standard package, covered by the 15-day refund. The Enterprise contract is monthly with no minimum term.
