Use Operations to diagnose async deploy, import, purge, certificate, and platform actions.

Prerequisites

  • Operation must belong to the selected account.
  • Failure message must be customer-visible and redacted.
  • Retry/cancel is documented only when a public UI/API surface exists.

Step-by-step guide

Open Operations

Deploy, SSL, DNS, purge, and account lifecycle jobs are tracked from Operations.

  • Open Operations from Activity.
  • Check status column and timestamp.

Expected result: Queued/running/success/failed states are visible.

Choose retry or support

For failed operations, look for customer-safe next action first.

  • Read failure message.
  • Use panel retry/cancel if available.
  • Otherwise open support with operation UUID and timestamp.

Expected result: The user can proceed without internal service access.

Verification

  • Operations list does not leak another account.
  • Failure detail contains no secret.
  • Internal queue/server access is not a customer step.

Use cases

A deployment or import failed and the customer needs the next action.

Quick workflow

  1. Open Activity > Operations.
  2. Find operation.
  3. Read status and message.
  4. Retry/cancel from supported customer surface or open support.

Checks

  • Operation belongs to the account.
  • Failure detail is useful but redacted.
  • Unsupported cancel/retry paths are not shown.
