Account status, delete, and restore

Understand account enable/disable, deletion window, cancel deletion, and how Operations reflects queued account work.

Panel path

  1. Management Panel
  2. CDN Accounts
  3. Status / Delete / Restore
  4. Activity
  5. Operations

Prerequisites

  • The action applies to a selected and owned account.
  • Delete, cancel, or status changes may create operations.
  • Operation details must not expose another account.

Step-by-step guide

1

Confirm account and action

Status, delete, and package icons must be used on the correct row.

  • Find the correct row in CDN Accounts.
  • Check status before using an action icon.

Expected result: The action is scoped to the selected account only.

cdnctl equivalent
cdnctl accounts list
2

Watch the operation result

If background work is queued, read the customer-visible status from Activity > Operations.

  • Open Operations from Activity.
  • Check the related operation row.

Expected result: Success or failure details are redacted and explainable to the customer.

cdnctl equivalent
cdnctl operations list --account <account_uuid>

Verification

  • Operation belongs to the selected account.
  • Cancel/retry is documented only through supported customer surfaces.
  • Deletion recovery window is visible when available.

Use cases

A customer disabled or deleted the wrong account and needs a safe recovery path from the panel.

Quick workflow

  1. Open CDN Accounts.
  2. Find the account.
  3. Use status, delete, or cancel deletion action.
  4. Check Activity > Operations when background work is queued.

Checks

  • The action is scoped to the selected account.
  • Deletion/cancel deletion is visible before irreversible cleanup.
  • Support can inspect operation UUID if the action fails.
