Create the first CDN account

Use the wizard, complete the manual package step when required, and prepare the customer-visible workspace.

Use cases

A customer wants to migrate an application or automate it with cdnctl, but does not yet have a paid CDN account to attach domains, DNS records, SSL, storage, or platform settings to.

Workflow

  1. Open CDN Accounts.
  2. Start the setup wizard.
  3. Select the delivery method.
  4. Buy the required package from the panel if the selected workflow requires one.
  5. Assign the package to the account.
  6. Finish the account shell, then continue with the related product section or cdnctl/API workflow.

Checks

  • The account appears in the account list.
  • The account can be selected from the account switcher.
  • The required package is paid and assigned before cdnctl/API/AI-agent operations start.
  • No internal operation is needed to create the shell.

Smoke tests

  • PlatformHelpDocumentationTest checks the managed-container wizard shell wording.
  • SmokeManagedContainerUiCommandTest checks that the UI smoke command exists for release gates.
